Shooting at Pilot Travel Center Leaves One Truck Driver Dead

An argument between two truck drivers led to a fatal shooting at a Pilot in Missouri.

The incident happened at the Pilot Travel Center located on 1475 Thornton St in Pacific, Missouri, on Wednesday afternoon. 

Police were called to the scene around 11 a.m. and found one driver suffering from a gunshot wound. He was rushed to a nearby hospital, where he later died. 

According to the St. Louis Post-Dispatch, shots were fired after a verbal argument between two truck drivers turned into a physical confrontation. The suspect has been taken into custody.

The names of the drivers have not been released. An investigation remains underway.
